hi all
went to hydro today as I was arriving there was a lady of some er um experience ( ) getting out of the pool.
she had a shower cap on, this not being fetching enough she had taken the effort to sew plastic fruit on it! (Think Carmen Sylvera crossed with Fanny Craddock!)
Apparently she asked the physio where she could purchase a "Bathing Bonnet" from, and the physio said she didnt know....!

It took her 25 mins to dress- bearing in mind it is 26 degrees in the shade here today- she wore stockings, socks (pulled up) sandals, skirt. blouse (prob vest and gurdle underneath) and jumper, woolly coat and woolly hat!
I wonder when I get to that age I will start thinking "My this floral skirt is nice- it will match my stockings and pulled up socks with sandals in my summer wardrobe....."
(when I get to that stage- please send me some fetching rubber swimming bonnets...... )

Aaww bless! (Jean dresses like that all the time  ) I don't suppose you found out where she got the swim bonnet from in the end? Sounds just what I need! Hope you got some benefit from your session. Love, Doreen xx

Lol - she must feel the cold Jenni - I'll be like that - my family laugh at me and call me 'cardies to the caribbean' - innovative headwear though (Idon't like getting my hair wet either !!!).

Yes but it's supposed to be PLASTIC fruit on the swim hat , not squashed grapes!

yeap i have to dress doris or leave her clean clothes out just the same got too have tights on . and also dressed ladies when doing homecare like this and had too ask for extra time Summer or winter christine The chocolate eating housewife ...The washer woman .....naughty lady

Perhaps the fruit was on her head in case she got hungry! She sounds a hoot!
